Draw Frequency & Timing
In 2025, the NBPNP has been conducting draws at least twice per month, a notable increase from previous years.
Draws are often scheduled in mid-month and again in the early portion of the following month, giving candidates multiple opportunities to be invited.
ImmigrationNB reopened and ramped up PNP operations beginning February 5, 2025, transitioning into this higher frequency.
Sector & Stream Focus
Recent draws reflect targeted recruitment across multiple streams:
Healthcare, Education, Construction (Trades) — strong focus in Experience and Graduates pathways.
Priority Occupations — specifically focused on healthcare roles in the June 17 draw.
Express Entry (Employment in NB) — targeting individuals with at least 12 months of full-time work experience in NB, across all sectors (excluding Chefs in some rounds).
Predicting Upcoming Draws
Based on current trends, you can expect,
Draws every 2–4 weeks, typically around mid-month and again early the next month.
Continued targeting of the healthcare, skilled trades, tech, and logistics sectors.
No EFIs accepted under the Priority Occupations pathway currently, meaning draws pull from previously submitted EOIs.
