What to expect for the rest of 2025?

ITAs issued so far in 2025: 55,820 (through Aug 19).

Recent monthly pace:

June: ~7,405 ITAs (6 draws).

July: 7,558 ITAs.

August: 6,417 ITAs (Aug 6, 7, 8, 18, 19)

Jun–Aug average: ≈ 7.1k ITAs/month.

Projection (range, not a promise)

Base case: If IRCC maintains 6.5k–8k ITAs/month Sep–Dec (4 months), 26k–32k additional ITAs are plausible for the rest of 2025.

Resulting 2025 total: 82k–88k ITAs
This range lines up with (a) the remaining category allocations (Education/Healthcare/Trades) and (b) continued PNP/CEC rounds observed mid-year.

Note: ITAs issued late in the year often support next year’s admissions targets, especially French-proficiency and category rounds scheduled in the second half.
