On October 9, 2025, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued 1,680 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) across its Employer Job Offer streams. Of these, 1,590 invitations were sent to candidates working in priority healthcare occupations and early childhood education (NOC 42202). An additional 90 invitations were issued under the Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) pilot, supporting smaller communities in Lambton, Lanark, and Leeds & Grenville. (source)
All selected candidates were drawn from the Expression of Interest (EOI) system and are now required to submit applications through Ontario’s Employer Portal, which became mandatory on July 2, 2025.

Application Process
The first and foremost important step is for the applicant to land a PR eligible job under OINP. The employer , the applicant and the occupations must be eligible. Once all of those are confirmed, the employer must register their business in the Employer Portal and provide information about the position by creating a job offer. The employer is required to submit the employment position approval through the Employer Portal within 14 calendar days, while the candidate must complete their application and payment through the OINP e-Filing Portal within 17 calendar days of receiving the invitation. Once the expression of interest is selected, both the employer and candidate will receive email notifications confirming their eligibility to proceed.
